Walnut Creek Preserve has been conceived so that the planned home sites surround a core of more than 1,000 acres of forest permanently protected by conservation easement, with more than 25 miles of wood-lined trails, all freely accessible by deeded easement to the home owners and their guests for hiking and riding. Walnut Creek Preserve is blessed with 25 streams and creeks, including a long run of Walnut Creek which enters the property at Walnut Falls and meanders more than 2 miles through the heart of the Preserve. The many coves and the varied plant life make every walk a delight.

The 2,100 acre community has hilly terrain which offers many breathtaking views of the mountains to the west, south and north, taking in Chimney Rock, White Oak Mountain and northern peaks of the Pisgah Range. These views have inspired the selection of many of the home sites. We invite you to take a tour of Walnut Creek Preserve, its history, its topography, its habitats. We invite you to imagine yourself wandering on one of the many, many trails, on horseback or on foot, without the hassle of leaving home. We invite you to create the home of your dreams on the landscape of your dreams, in one of the most beautiful spots in Western North Carolina. Come to Walnut Creek Preserve: 2,100 acres, only 25 home sites - forever.
